This release from Linden Hill Decals is a decal sheet full of lots of variety of "Bush War Hinds" (Mi-24 Hinds) which include some noseart and Northern Alliance markings from Afghanistan.

The Mi-24 is the best known Russian attack helicopter and enjoyed successful overseas sales with a large number of countries. This new decal sheet includes 8 different Mi-24 Hinds from the USSR, Afghan 'Northern Alliance' Forces, Bulgarian Air Force, Croatian Air Force, Macedonian air Force, Democratic Republic of Afghanistan Army Air Service pre 1979 and the Libyan Air Force.

Included in the package are 2 decal sheets, 7 pages of colour instructions including plenty of text and pages of sideview profiles showing decal placement and camo scheme as well as info about each Hind. This whole package is safely contained inside a plastic ziploc bag. Eight different choppers.....in very striking camo schemes.

First off...the decals quality is high quality.

These are very thin and clearly and crisply printed decals. To avoid problems with the more complicated decals....some decals were printed as 2 decals that will be layered on the model to achieve one decal and avoid register problems.

Artwork is quite good but the main attraction of this decal sheet is the camo schemes....although the variety of national markings is quite interesting. and nice selection of artwork.

Stencils are not included on this decal sheet but a separate stencil decal sheet is available from Linden Hill Imports.

Paint schemes are a range of muted desert camo to dark jungle camo. The 7 pages of colour instructions tell about each aircraft....including colour sideview profiles detailing decal placement. The paint schemes include hard edge camo schemes so you basically mask and spray (without the complication of soft edge camo schemes). You do not get full views of each Hind.....so guess work at the camo schemes will be necessary.....but most of the aircraft include a left and right sideview profile.

Planes included in this decal package are....USSR Afghanistan Bagram AB 1988, Afghan 'Northern Alliance' Forces, Bulgarian Air Force, Croatian Air Force, Macedonian air Force, Democratic Republic of Afghanistan Army Air Service pre 1979 and the Libyan Air Force.

These decals are well recommended for your next 1/35 Mi-24 project.
