I
had this model in my stash for years never finished when my friend Bill
goaded me to finish it week after week when he stopped by the workshop.
I
had always wanted to try a aircraft diorama, so I got out some Jaguar figures in 1/48 scale
I finished years ago and went to town. I had this
irregularly shaped base in my base drawer and threw some white glue down
on the base and railroad grass on top of that. Forgetting about completely
finishing the aircraft (a strut or decal here I'm sure is missing) I
rushed to get my little piece of history done. The aircraft is straight
out of the box and the lozenge decals went on easily, providing that you
cut them in half and apply a lot of Solveset and Sol.
This dio was worth the wait for me!
