This is my Revell F-86D, it
really builds up great with very little putty, there's a picture
of this airplane in the first issue of "F-86 in action" I had
alway's wanted to build it but didn't have a Kit or decals.

Then Revell
released the kit,Great, now I need the decals....enter Mike
Grant. He
supplied some great decals and I had all I needed. I got started and the
only thing I added to the kit other than the decals was a resin
seat. I
primed it with the Alclad ll gray primer and painted a base of Alclad
White aluminum, then I painted other panels with different shades of
Alclad.
I then masked and painted white
for the day-glo, I looked all over for a day-glo orange and finally found
Model Master Fluorescent Red it's a perfect match to me
After painting I
gave the model a light coat of gloss and decaled, after decaling I gave it a
very light wash and I was done, I finally have the F-86D I've always wanted.
