This is my Trumpeter P-38 built
straight out of the box with no filler. The kit is a good one with a few minor
difficulties, but fits together very well with plenty of cockpit detail which on this
model must be done as it can be seen with the open eye.

My model was painted with
Old Silver, Testors Olive Drab and Insignia Yellow. Decals came
from Eagle Editions (Late Capt Jack Ilfrey 20th Fighter group 1944) and went on like a dream.
I recommend Eagle Edition Decals for quality and accuracy.
A kit I would recommend, but not for a beginner.
