What do you do with a worn out, high time Learjet? Remove its wings and stabilizers and build a 10 seat, streamliner type jet powered racer to give paying customers the experience of racing on the Bonneville salt flats at 250 m.p.h. plus speed.

A tricycle type layout with forged aluminum wheels and high- pressure racing tires replace the original retractable landing gear. The cockpit is gutted and a single central driver seat and instrument panel give the driver critical engine and speed data. 

What a thrill to speed across the lake bed in airconditioned comfort strapped into plush leather seats. A flat screen on the forward bulkhead would give passengers a driver’s view ahead. Maybe this isn’t such a silly idea after all!
