Grumman Tracker S-2E, Venezuela Air Force
Continuing with the commemoration in 2020, of the 100 Year Anniversary of the Venezuela Air Force.

The Grumman Tracker was an anti-submarine aircraft used by the United States Navy. Venezuela began the purchase, in 1972, of six Tracker S-2E aircraft. In 1974 with those planes, the Venezuelan Navy created the Anti-Submarine Squadron No. 10 (AS-10). Although the Trackers underwent updating work in the early 1980s, they were decommissioned in 1987 and replaced with Spanish CASA C-212 aircraft.

To build the Venezuelan Navy Grumman Tracker S-2E 103, I use the 1/48 scale Kinetic Grumman S-2F / S-2E model. Painted with Testor Model Master acrylic paint; decals are from the Brazilian firm FCM, although it was necessary to make some of my own.
