1/25 Revell 1932 Ford Deuce

Gallery Article by Terry Sumner

This red full fendered 32 Ford Deuce rod has had the top chopped a scale 6 inches.

The rear end was ditched in favor of a complete Jag rear suspension lifted from the Revell 28 T Touring kit. The exhaust pipes were fashioned from solder while the mufflers were hand turned from aluminum on my Unimat lather. The exhaust pipes aft of the mufflers were fashioned from aluminum tubing and the muffler clamps are Detail Master photoetched items.

The engine is a small block Ford with plug wires added along with Detail Master Photoetched wire looms. The distributor was drilled with a number 80 bit to insert all the plug wires. Detail Master stainless steel braiding was used for the radiator hoses.

The paint was Boyd's and the finish was color sanded and rubbed out for the shine. The interior is from the kit and the flooring was carpeted with Detail Master flocking in a light gray color.
