Made from the good old Airfix Mark 1. A very nice kit. Panels rescribed, new undercarriage etc. Markings of 19 Sqn, Duxford, May 1939. This model features a fully detailed cockpit (mainly scratchbuilt), vacuform canopy and reworked undercarriage.
My collection of Merlin engine Spits is not yet complete. I still have some way to go. Len Thomson
